ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Two more Abu Sayyaf bandits have surrendered in Indanan, Sulu.

Mukarim Nasilin, 31, a native of Maimbung town, and Sahi Hasim, 28, of Talipao turned over their M1 Garand rifles to the 41st Infantry Battalion on Wednesday, Col. Antonio Bautista Jr., deputy commander of the 1102nd Infantry Brigade said yesterday.

Bautista said the bandits cited military pressure for their surrender.

Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, Western Mindanao Command chief, said pursuit operations for the bandits would continue to be relentless.
