MANILA, Philippines — At least two passengers sustained minor injuries after one of the windows of a Light Rail Transit-1 coach got broken on Wednesday afternoon.

LRT-1 spokesperson Sweeden Ramirez said over a radio report that a passenger opened a window of an LRT train coach by force and broke it.

Two other passengers were wounded by the shattered window. They were attended to by Philippine Red Cross staff for medical treatment.

The incident occurred at the United Nations Station around 1:50 p.m.

Ramirez said the passenger who tried to open the window was already turned over to the police.
