BIR employee dies in road mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY,  Cagayan, Philippines —  An employee of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) died when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a passenger bus in Isabela on Thursday.

Mark Vincent Balisi, an administrative aide of the BIR, died at the scene.

Reports said Balisi was heading to Ilagan City from Naguilian town when he was struck by a Florida bus driven by Rodel Bumagat, 42. 

Bumagat turned himself in to police after the accident.
