2 killed in Negros shootings

BACOLOD CITY , Philippines — Unidentified motorcycle-riding men shot dead two persons in Negros yesterday.

Joenel Tomazar was repairing his tricycle in front of his residence along Lopez Jaena street in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental when he was shot in the head.

In Negros Oriental, habal-habal driver Gerson Alpida was shot in front of a convenience store in Barangay Alangilanan, Manjuyod. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
