OFW, 2 others held for drugs

MANILA, Philippines — An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) and his two companions were arrested in a drug sting in Taguig City yesterday.

Around half a kilo of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with a street value of P3.4 million was seized from OFW Zainab Pamansag, 27; tricycle driver Joel Undong, 30, and Aiza Abdul, 29, in a drug bust staged at the FTI Terminal ARCA South.

In Pasay, Malaysians Hong Choag Chia, 26, and Moh Jing Hoa, 28, were arrested at the Selah Pod Hotel after the hotel’s general manager reported seeing drug paraphernalia in their room.
