Southwest monsoon affects Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Northern Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.

“Bataan, Cagayan Valley, the Cordilleras, Ilocos Region and Zambales will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms,” PAGASA said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
