Family of 4 nabbed for drugs

MANILA, Philippines — Four family members, including a retired Army soldier, were arrested in a drug sting in Makati on Tuesday night.

Retired Army member Jaime Zinampan, 64, was nabbed along with his relatives Angelo Acbuche, 19; Jennifer Acbuche, 31, and Arlyn Zinampan, 35.

Police said they recovered from the suspects 25 grams of shabu worth P8,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Prior to their arrest, the elder Zinampan allegedly sold two sachets of shabu to a police officer who posed as a buyer.

Police said another suspect, Jaypee Zinampan, managed to escape.
