Ifugao town vice mayor reported missing

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Vice Mayor Fernando Gapuz of Tinoc, Ifugao has been reported missing since Friday.

Gapuz, 56, left his house in Barangay Impugong at about 7 a.m. to meet Councilor Dondon Canute Jr. in Sitio Gaddinangan, according to his son Franklin.  

Gapuz was reportedly last seen leaving the house of Canute and boarding a bus bound for Buguias, Benguet.

His family members said they could not contact the vice mayor through his cell phone.

The Tinoc police appealed to the public to report any information about Gapuz through mobile number 0935 1107168.
