3 fires hit Makati, Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Three fires broke out in Makati City and a restaurant in Pasay City since Monday.

Arson investigators said a fire started at an abandoned house on Apolinario street in Barangay Bangkal, Makati at around 2:32 a.m. Firefighters put it out a few minutes later.

Another fire broke out at a residential area along A. Luna street in Barangay West Rembo, Makati before 3 a.m. The fire was put out less than 30 minutes later.

In Pasay, a fire broke out at the kitchen of a Burger King branch along Macapagal Boulevard at around 3:55 p.m. on Monday. It was put out just before 5 p.m.

No one was reported killed or injured during the fire incidents in Makati and Pasay.
