2 women nabbed ?for swindling condo owners

MANILA, Philippines — Two women were arrested for allegedly running off with millions of pesos from a condominium homeowners’ association in Pasig City.

Michelle Ramirez, 33, was served an arrest warrant for 76 counts of estafa at the Reliance IT building in Barangay Ugong just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

The warrant was issued by Judge Rowena de Juan-Quinagoran of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 166.

Brig. Gen. Christopher Tambungan, Eastern Police District director, alleged that Ramirez and Reynalyn Costales, 32, transferred the funds of the Villa Sole Condominium Association to their personal bank acounts.

The two women were former administrative personnel of the association.

Costales was arrested at the Supirma Square Commercial Center in Bulacan last May 29 and led police to Ramirez.
