Quake rocks Northern Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake rattled parts of Northern Luzon yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake occurred at 1:07 p.m. Its epicenter was located 19 kilometers northeast of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
It was felt at Intensity 2 in Pasuquin town in Ilocos Norte and Claveria in Cagayan.
Meanwhile, a magnitude-4 quake occurred 64 km southeast of Lingig, Surigao del Sur at 1:14 a.m. The tremor was unfelt, Phivolcs said.
No damage or aftershocks were expected from the quakes.
