4 dead in Ilocos Norte, Isabela road mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Four persons died in road accidents in Ilocos Norte and Isabela on Friday.

Police said Christian Joy Miguel and John Lloyd Badua both 16, were riding a motorcycle when it collided with a dump truck along the highway in Barangay Magnuang, Batac City.

Badua was ran over by the truck while Miguel was pinned under it. They died at the scene.

Initial investigation showed the accident occurred when Miguel, who was driving the motorcycle, swerved in the opposite lane.

In Isabela, Dominic Feliciano, 44, was driving his Mitsubishi Lancer with Aljon Ocampo when they were hit by a Victory Liner bus in Barangay Maligaya, Echague. They died on the way to a hospital.

The drivers of the truck and bus surrendered.
