Earthquakes rock parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — Two earthquakes, both measuring magnitude-4, hit parts of Mindanao yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

The first quake occurred 25 kilometers southeast of Remedios Romualdez town in Agusan del Norte at 3:12 a.m.

It was felt at Intensity 1 in Gingoog, Misamis Oriental.

The second quake occurred at 5:14 a.m. and was located 14 km northwest of Cortes in Surigao del Sur.
