2 teachers drown in Northern Samar

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — Two teachers at an elementary school in Palapag, Northern Samar drowned while two others were reported missing after swimming in the sea on Friday.
The bodies of Artemio Mejos, 27, a resident of Barangay Cabatuan, and James Dulay, 32, of Laoang town were recovered by fishermen at around 7 p.m.
Police said search and rescue operations for Reynaldo Adora, 30, and Leonard Adarayan, 32, are ongoing.
The victims were reportedly carried away by the strong current.
