Robber’s body dumped in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines — The Malabon City police has identified a man whose body was found stuffed in a sack and dumped in Barangay Potrero yesterday morning.

Col. Jessie Tamayao said a detainee of the Caloocan police custodial facility identified the victim as Emerson Gamba, a gangmate who served time for illegal drugs and robbery.  

Gamba was seen in a viral video robbing a taxi driver in Caloocan last Feb. 22, Tamayao said.

Gamba was stabbed in the chest and his feet and hands were bound, he added.

Residents said they noticed a sack at the corner of Araneta Avenue and Tuazon Street and notified barangay officials.
