2 boys injured in Parañaque fire

MANILA, Philippines — Two boys suffered abrasions after a fire broke out at a residential area in Parañaque City Thursday night.

Shimuel Villavir, 17, and Kanji Akamine, 16, were brought to the Ospital ng Parañaque for treatment.

The blaze started at around 8:06 p.m. and destroyed three houses along Guyabano street, Purok 4 in Barangay BF Homes before it was put out at around 9:16 p.m., according to the Southern Police District.

Probers have yet to identify the cause of the fire, which reached second alarm, and estimate the amount of damage.
