Kennon Road reopening suspended anew

Tuba, Benguet, Philippines — The reopening of Kennon Road during weekends has been suspended anew in the aftermath of a magnitude 6.1 tremblor that shook Luzon on Monday.
Officials of the Cordillera Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and an inter-agency task force on Kennon agreed during its meeting on Wednesday to suspend the reopening of the highway pending further inspection.
The earthquake was felt in Baguio City at Intensity 4, which is considered moderately strong.
