Supreme Court declares half-day work on Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) yesterday declared half-day work tomorrow for court employees nationwide.

Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin issued the order to allow workers in the judiciary to observe the Lenten break.

According to an advisory released by the SC, courts located in government-owned buildings will observe a whole-day work suspension if it is declared by the local government.

“Otherwise, courts should observe a half-day work schedule as per the SC calendar,” the SC said.
