2 die in Pangasinan road mishaps

LINGAYEN, Philippines — Two persons died while another was injured in separate road accidents in Urdaneta City and San Manuel town, both in Pangasinan, on Saturday night.

The fatalities were identified as Jhun Sumera and Giemser Rey Muñoz. Injured was Jovelyn Bayaca, 27.

Reports said Sumera and Bayaca’s motorcycle hit a tractor parked along the road in Barangay Catablan, Urdaneta City at around 7:45 p.m.

The victims were taken to the Urdaneta District Hospital, where Sumera was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, Muñoz reportedly lost control of his motorcycle as he was traveling in Barangay Guiset Sur in San Manuel town at around 8:30 p.m.

Muñoz was delared dead on arrival at the Dr. Laureano Perez Memorial Clinic.
