2 Indians die in Zamboanga City road mishap

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Two Indians died when their motorcycle collided with a cargo truck here on Thursday. 

Maj. Helen Galvez, Zamboanga peninsula spokesperson, identified the fatalities as Amardeep Singh, 33, and his brother Minindar, 22, both residents of Barangay Tumaga in this city. 

Initial investigation showed the accident occured while the motorcycle was overtaking another vehicle along the Maria Clara Lobregat Highway in Barangay Buenavista. 

The truck driver, Raymond Papas, 30, was arrested.
