Tricycle drivers, operators support Bong Go
MANILA, Philippines — The Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) in Metro Manila has thrown its support to the senatorial bid of former special assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go.
TODA National Capital Region president Ace Sevilla rallied the members of the Federation of Muntinlupa Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association on Saturday to support Go in the midterm elections.
According to Sevilla, Go has shown his concern for tricycle drivers and operators.
The event started with a motorcade around the city and ended with a short program at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.
Members of the TODA thanked Go for supporting their cause.
“Walang boses ang mga tricycle drivers sa Senado kaya panahon na para ihalal natin si Bong Go,” Sevilla said.
Other legislative priorities of Go include agriculture, housing, education, sports development, fire protection and prevention, peace talks, barangay welfare, creation of a Department of overseas Filipino workers and improved benefits for senior citizens.
