Girl, 5, raped, killed in Cavite

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A five-year-old girl, believed to be a victim of rape, was found dead at an abandoned house in Barangay Sabang, Naic, Cavite on Saturday night.

The body of Chrizel Ann Alburo was found stuffed in a plastic bag.

The girl was reportedly last seen with a 16-year-old boy.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Rona May Castillo, 16, was found dead with no underwear in a grassy area in Sitio Binayoyo, Barangay Calawis, Antipolo City, Rizal.

Police said the victim could have been struck in the face with a hard object.

Investigations into the killings are ongoing.
