Couple gunned down in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines — A married couple was shot dead by a still unidentified gunman in Camarin, Caloocan Thursday night. 

Albine and Nemia Nervar were shot in their house in Barangay 177 while their daughter was outside playing with her friends.

The masked gunmen bought a cigarette at their store before he barged in and shot the couple. 

Albine was set to testify in a murder case in connection with a shooting in November 2018.

Police are conducting a manhunt for a person of interest, according to Chief Inspector Enrique Torres of the Caloocan police Station Investigation Division and Management Branch.
