Traffic rerouted at NLEX Balintawak

MANILA, Philippines — North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corp. has advised motorists that traffic will be rerouted to give way to the Skyway Stage 3 construction in the NLEX Balintawak area.

NLEX Corp. and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) are implementing the rerouting plan to allow San Miguel Corp.-led Citra Central Expressway Corp. to start the construction of its Skyway Stage 3 project at certain portions of NLEX Balintawak this month. 

“We are appealing for the patience and understanding of the public, but we are also assuring them that MMDA, NLEX and Skyway teams will exert all efforts to minimize travel delays despite the ongoing construction,” MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia said.
