Portions of Nagtahan, Concordia bridges closed

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) yesterday advised motorists to brace for traffic jams along President Qurino Avenue in Manila due to the closure of portions of Nagtahan and Concordia bridges on Saturday.

MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia said the third phase of the Skyway repairs started yesterday, affecting one lane of the Nagtahan Bridge.

Garcia said traffic buildup is also expected as the northbound lane of Concordia Bridge in Paco would be closed for repairs.
