LIST: Meralco announces power interruptions in Caloocan City, nearby provinces

MANILA, Philippines—  The Manila Electric Company recently announced that some areas in Caloocan City and nearby provinces would experience power interruptions from February 6 to 10.

Meralco said it would conduct maintenance operations in some areas of Caloocan City and the provinces of Quezon Cavite and Laguna.

The electric firm said it would replace the poles and conduct line reconductoring works in Camarin, Caloocan City.

It will also conduct line reconductoring works and install additional lightning protection devices inside Villa Muzon Subdivision, Barangay Muzon, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.

Meanwhile, it would hold preventive maintenance and testing works in Abubot Station affecting Dasmariñas, Imus, Silang and General Trias in Cavite.

Aside from these, Meralco said it would replace the pole along San Pablo City in Laguna.

The electric company would conduct maintenance work inside the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines–Tayabas substation, which would result in power interruptions in Quezon Province and Luisiana and Majayjay in Laguna.
