Drunk man drowns in Ilocos Norte dam

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — A man believed to be drunk drowned in a water reservoir in Barangay Cacafean, Marcos, Ilocos Norte on Sunday.

Police said Clemencio Puzon, a resident of Barangay Escoda, failed to surface when he fell in the water during a drinking spree with his friends near the dam.

Puzon was pronounced dead on arrival at the Dingras District Hospital.
