3 killed in gun attacks

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three persons, including a village watchman, were killed in gun attacks in Cavite, Laguna and Batangas over the weekend.

Factory worker Reymart Lentija was reportedly shot at close range following an argument with Neil John Tapawan in Barangay Malagasang 1D, Imus, Cavite. The suspect escaped.

Lauro Marfil was driving his tricycle when he was shot by an unidentified assailant in Barangay Tubigan, Biñan, Laguna.

Christopher Canta, village watchman in Barangay Poblacion, Laurel, Batangas, was shot by unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen.
