Palace declares January 16, 2019 a holiday in Navotas

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared Jan. 16 a special non-working holiday in Navotas City in celebration of its 113th founding anniversary. 

The declaration was contained in Proclamation No. 648 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea by authority of President Duterte last Jan. 11.

“It’s but fitting and proper that the people of the city of Navotas be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” the proclamation read.
