Girl, 10, raped, found dead

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A man and his 17-year-old brother were arrested in connection with the killing of a 10-year-old girl in Talisay, Negros Occidental on Monday.

Marchela Sayo, whose body was found under a sink at a boarding house owned by his uncle in Barangay Zone 14-B, was raped, according to Superintendent Boots Aseo, city police chief.

Aseo said the victim was hogtied while her head was covered with plastic.     

The suspects were charged with rape with homicide.
