Ex-soldier faces raps for illegal possession of ammo

BAUTISTA, Pangasinan, Philippines — A retired Army soldier was arrested in Barangay Diaz here on Monday for illegal possession of ammunition.

Police said Reydante Limos, 40, yielded more than 500 rounds of ammunition for an M16 and bullets for a caliber .38 revolver and  caliber .45 pistol during a raid on his house.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 are being readied against Limos.
