Reward up for arrest of Cagayan bar owners’ killers

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — The municipal government of Lal-lo, Cagayan has offered a reward of P50,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects in the killing of the owners of a karaoke bar in Barangay Magapit on Monday.

Mayor Florante Pascual also ordered the closure of night spots in the area following the incident.

Eugene Javier and his wife Princess, who was nine months pregnant, and Ramsey Javier and his wife Mikaela were reportedly gunned down following an argument with the suspects.

Initial investigation showed the suspects confronted the victims after one of the guest relations officers turned down an offer to engage in sexual services.
