Boy, 3, dies of snake bite in Butuan City

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines  —  A three-year-old boy died after he was reportedly bitten by a cobra in Purok 6, Barangay Tag-abaca in this city on Monday.  

Police identified the victim as Sean Kent Gonzaga. 

Gonzaga’s mother Theresa said she brought her son to a hospital when she saw him crying and found bite marks on his leg and body.  

However, the boy was declared dead on arrival in the hospital.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
