6 dead in road mishaps

MANILA, Philippines — Six persons died in road accidents in Pangasinan and Nueva Vizcaya on Thursday.

Ramsey Gacad, 41, was pronounced dead on arrival in a hospital after his motorcycle was hit by a Five Star bus in Barangay Nancayasam, Urdaneta.

Rifrenz Berg Balangcad, 30, and Jerick Hizon, 29, died when their motorcycle crashed into a truck in Barangay Longos Proper, San Fabian.

Carlito Sales, 52, was struck by a still unidentified vehicle when he pulled over to pick up the vegetables that fell from his tricycle.

 In Nueva Vizcaya, Roylence Bautista, 21, and Aldrin John Dilan, 17, believed to be victims of hit-and-run, were found unconscious beside their wrecked motorcycle along the highway in Barangay Bascaran, Solano at around 4 a.m.
