MANILA, Philippines — Six employees of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) caught on video apparently involved in fixing driver’s licenses have been suspended.

LTO chief Edgar Galvante ordered the suspension of the personnel of the agency’s licensing center in Pasay City after the video went viral on social media.

“They will be under preventive suspension pending results of the investigation,” Galvante said.

A video posted on Facebook by Nhiors Kie showed the LTO employees allegedly engaged in fixing activities on Oct. 24.

Kie alleged that the employees prioritized transactions in exchange for bribes.

The video has been viewed over half a million times.

Galvante said they would invite the Facebook user to verify his allegation.

He said criminal and administrative charges would be filed against the LTO employees once they are proven guilty.
