NPA leader, 4 recruits nabbed in Negros

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A suspected New People’s Army (NPA) leader and four of her recruits were arrested in Barangay 9, Kabankalan, Negros Occidental on Thursday.

Mary Grace Delicano, secretary of the Central Negros Front, and his recruits Richard  Serapin, Arnold Villegas, Wildie Adal and Eric James Rufino were in a Toyota Innova when pulled over at a checkpoint, Capt. Allen Mark Tacorda of the 62nd Infantry Battalion civil military operations office said. 

Tacorda said that Delicano has a pending warrant of arrest for murder.  

A Macbook, two USB flash drives, an external hard drive, medical supplies and subversive documents were among those reportedly recovered from the rebels.– Jaime Laude
