4 die in Zamboanga dle Sur vehicle smashup

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Four persons died in a collission involving several vehicles along the highway in Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur on Saturday. 

Truck driver Esteban Banosia II and motorcycle rider Benny Pasion died at the scene. Two other truck drivers, Armando Bunayog and  Julio Andales, died while being treated in a hospital 

Initial investigation showed that a truck loaded with raw sugarcane and driven by Fructoso Bation was negotiating a sloped portion of the highway in Barangay Esperanza when it collided with an incoming Kia Bonggo. The truck also  crashed into a sport utility vehicle, two other trucks and a motorcycle. 

Four other persons, one of them identified as Reglin Pepito, suffered serious injuries.
