8 nabbed in 2 Valenzuela drug dens
MANILA, Philippines — Eight persons were arrested by anti-narcotics operatives at two drug dens in Valenzuela with 22 grams of shabu worth P148,000.
Northern Police District (NPD) Chief Superintendent Gregorio Lim said the suspects were arrested in two successive stings in Barangay Gen. T De Leon launched by the District Drug Enforcement Unit Friday afternoon.
In the first drug sting, Aurefel Agra, Paulo Moya, Erwin Rimonte, Romeo Moya, Angelo Valdez and Alwin Caagbay were arrested for carrying six grams of shabu with a street value of P40,800 in a drug den along Guava street in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon.
A second sting was launched minutes later at a house along Villa Sta. Catalina street, resulting in the arrest of Timhar Addang and Noren Santiago for 16 grams of shabu with a street value of P108,000.
