4 killed in Quezon City shootings

MANILA, Philippines — Four men were killed by police in separate shootings in Quezon City since Thursday.

Police have yet to identify the three fatalities, who were gunned down along Ilocos Sur street in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay.

Probers said they were able to purchase three 12-gauge shotguns for P15,000 from the suspects prior to the firefight.

Police Officer 3 Ronniel Abuyog was hit in the bullet vest. The suspects died at the scene.

In Barangay Central, a man known only as Allan was killed by anti-drug operatives of the Kamuning police station.

He was declared dead on arrival at the East Avenue Medical Center.

The suspect allegedly yielded eight sachets of shabu.
