Man shot dead in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A still unidentified man was shot in the head by two motorcycle-riding assailants in Quezon City on Thursday afternoon.

The victim, described by police as between 35 and 40 years old, was shot dead in front of a salon along Aurora Boulevard in Barangay E. Rodriguez at around 8:20 p.m.

A witness told police that he was tending to a customer in their shop when he heard a lone gunshot from outside. 

He saw a man putting a handgun into a sling bag and board a motorcycle driven by a companion. 

The unidentified victim was left slumped on the pavement with a gunshot wound on his head.

A bullet casing was recovered by police.
