P50,000 reward to solve bank exec’s murder
MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) is offering a P50,000 reward to persons who can identify two men who shot dead a Land Bank of the Philippines officer last month.
Remittance division chief Almerico Carlo Aldaba, 47, was in his car waiting for his daughter in front of a fastfood restaurant at the corner of San Sebastian street and C.M. Recto Avenue at around 9:10 p.m. on Sept. 6 when the two men shot him, MPD Station 3 commander Superintendent Julius Caesar Domingo said.
Chief Inspector Rommel Anicete, MPD homicide chief, said they are looking into personal grudge as a motive after ruling out robbery.
Inspector Dennis Javier said bank officials told them the victim was a good employee and had no known enemies.
