Manila government opens HIV/AIDS center
MANILA, Philippines — The Manila city government has inaugurated a health facility as part of its campaign to reduce the rising cases of HIV/AIDS in the city.
Mayor Joseph Estrada led the opening of Klinika Rosario Sundown clinic in San Andres, Malate.
The center, which is under the supervision of the city health department’s Manila Social Hygiene Clinic, is open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“We encourage the public to take advantage of the center’s services. It offers free consultation, HIV testing and treatment,” Estrada said.
