6/58 Ultra Lotto prize to hit P727 M

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot of the 6/58 Ultra Lotto is estimated to reach P727 million by tonight’s draw after no one won on Sunday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

The PCSO said its estimated jackpot for Sunday’s draw was P695 million but the sheer number of bets caused the jackpot to reach P704,720,320 by the time of the draw.

While no one won in Sunday night’s draw, 26 bettors received a consolation prize of P243,370 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination, 58-08-34-29-35-38.

The highest lotto jackpot was P741 million, won by a Filipino-American balikbayan in a 6/55 Mega Lotto draw held on Nov. 29, 2010.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto was last won on Feb. 16 by two bettors who shared a jackpot of P331.9 million.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto game is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
