TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — Five soldiers were hospitalized yesterday after eating wild mushroom in Bucloc, Abra on Monday night.

Chief Inspector Carol Lacuata, Cordillera police spokesperson, said the victims, who are personnel of the 24th Infantry Battalion, complained of abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and headache. The soldiers reportedly picked the mushroom in Sitio Tinoon, Barangay Labaan.
