Marikina’s most wanted man falls

MANILA, Philippines — The most wanted person in Marikina City was arrested in Rodriguez, Rizal yesterday. 

Nazarene Adornado, alias Nazi, 32, was nabbed by intelligence operatives of the Marikina police headed by Chief Inspector Glenn Aculana in Barangay Burgos at around 9:30 a.m.

Aculana said Adornado’s arrest was made on the strength of a warrant for murder issued by Judge Acerey Pacheco of the Marikina City Regional Trial Court Branch 165.

Adornado was tagged in the killing of Arthur Andres along J.P. Rizal street in Barangay Malanday on Nov. 28, 2016, city police chief Senior Superintendent Roger Quesada said.

The suspect and his three companions broke into the house of the victim and fired at him.

Adornado is being held at the Marikina police headquarters pending his transfer to the custody of the court.
