Retired cop found dead

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines —  A former police officer was found dead with bullet wounds in the head in Escalante City, Negros Occidental yesterday.

Former Senior Police Officer 2 Angel Sinadjan, 62, was found with two bullet wounds in the head at his home in Barangay Buenavista, according to Senior Inspector Aireen Cordua, spokesperson for the Negros Occidental police.

The incident was reported to the city police by barangay chairman Federico Tanguan.

Probers have yet to investigate the incident.
