3 kids drown in P’sinan, Cagayan

MANILA, Philippines — Three children drowned in Pangasinan and Cagayan on Friday.

Lance de la Cruz, 9, and Ramil Decena, 11, both residents of Sitio Gibang, Barangay Pantal, Dagupan were last seen playing near Pantal river at around 1:30 p.m.

They were pronounced dead on arrival in separate hospitals.

In Cagayan, Claire Salbino, 2, fell into an irrigation canal in front of their house in Barangay Aggugaddan, Peñablanca. She was declared dead on arrival at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the body of construction worker Melchor Latorre, 30, a resident of Barangay Talibaew, Calasiao, Pangasinan was found floating in Sinucalan river in Barangay Malued in Dagupan.
