DILG employee shot dead in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines — An employee of the Department of the Interior and Local Government in Cagayan Valley was gunned down by motorcycle-riding men in Barangay San Gabriel in this city on Friday. 

Justin Kevin Padilla, 25, was driving his Honda City (XPU-203) on his way home when he was shot at around 5:45 p.m.  He died while being treated at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center.

Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
