Troublemaker shot dead in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines — A man who was allegedly known for his arrogant demeanor was shot dead by still unidentified assailants in Malabon City on Monday.

Anthony de Jose, 28, was shot in the neck by two unidentified assailants in Barangay Tañong Monday afternoon.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Junny Delgado yesterday said the suspect caused trouble when he smashed a karaoke machine last week.

He also had a record of frustrated murder, alarm and scandal and physical injuries cases.

The victim was also a previous user of illegal drugs, although he is not part of the barangay watchlist, police said.

Meanwhile, 63-year-old Jesus Algunajota was just cleaning his motorcycle when he was hit by a stray bullet in the back during the incident.
