Man beats up son on Father’s Day

MANILA, Philippines — A 35-year-old man in Valenzuela City spent Father’s Day in jail for allegedly beating up his six-year-old son.

The victim’s mother reported Michael Fabul to the police for beating up their son after going home in a fit of rage in Barangay Ugong on Sunday.

Fabul is set to face a physical injury case in relation to Republic Act 7610, the anti-child abuse law.
